Hmmm the best day of 2011. That is actually a hard one for me to think of sadly. I think the best day in 2011 for me was the day I took Snowcone to the movies. Yes it seems lame but a lot of stuff happened that day. I went to a florist and picked up a blue rose, lame I know, but she was having a bad week at summer school. I wore a white button up, my Louis Vuitton cuff links, a black cardigan and jeans. She was wearing a blue dress that I bought for her, a Louis Vuitton necklace and hand purse. Why did we get so dressed up for the movies? I have no idea and still don’t remember why, but it was fun to see each other dressed up.
I borrowed my friends BMW 325i (thanks Elliot) and picked her up at around 6 and drove to Fashion Valley. At this time it was sunset and we walked into the movie theater and watched Transformers 3. We looked really out of place among all the little kids, teenagers and middle aged men, but we still had a lot of fun. After the movie we walked out and went to Roy’s in Downtown San Diego. We had a view of the ocean and it was really romantic and cute. We walked around the Gaslamp district, going into art galleries, enjoying each others company and being weird.
It was nearing midnight and we were walking towards the valet, the valet brings me the car and inside was the blue rose sitting on her chair (thanks Josh) and when she saw it, her eyes lit up. She picked the rose from the chair and looked at me. I walked over and hugged her, whispering in her ear, ‘Don’t worry, it’s just school.’ She looked up, and leaned up to me standing on her tiptoes and we kissed. It wasn’t our first kiss, but it was definitely the one that really makes me happy, even to this day.
